As an initial project, we are producing a series of coffee-table editions cataloging the Kenyan brand experience.
The initial project is based on Eldoret town, where we are based. The book is titled ‘ELDORET – The Stony River Town‘. For those of you familiar with the town’s history, eldore is maasai for stony river.

Dean Martins Corporate Communications is running a project to profile our great city, Eldoret. The publication is a comprehensive resource book detailing the town and its peoples. It targets all who do business in Eldoret, and are a part of our city’s identity. It is the most conclusive and recognized voice on Eldoret, with an expected circulation of more than 20,000 copies in East Africa, and available to a worldwide audience via the internet.
The publication is hard-cover, full-colour, full-gloss (finished to a high page polish) and A3 in size. The volume tells our city’s history, from the earliest tribal settlements, through the colonial period, the independence era, post-independence, and up until the present day. The town will be mapped photographically, and carry route and aerial maps. The book will be launched on September 1, 2012, accompanied by a detailed catalogue of advertisements of the various businesses in Eldoret.
The edition is an initiative of Dean Martins Corporate Communications, partnering with the various stakeholders in the Eldoret community.

The book will reach a regional East African audience in hard copy, with an expected circulation in excess of 20,000 copies, in addition to being available internationally online. Once on the web, we are running a Social Media Advertising campaign that will place the book and your products on more than 90 social websites, giving your presence in our city exposure to millions across the globe!
On the online version, there will be forums for participation by having still pictures/video clips of your business, with you detailing your brand and future plans, and your happy customers providing feedback.
Marketing & Publicity.
The first entry point will be the launch of the book & catalogue on September 1, 2012, in the presence of the various stakeholders as well as national media coverage (print, radio & television).
It will then be marketed on an international platform by Dean Martins Corporate Communications, out of our base in Eldoret, Kenya, to a worldwide audience.

The second and following web and book projects aim to showcase Kenyan brands. The website is under www.traderKENYA.com and the publication series runs under BUSINESS & BRANDS OF KENYA and will take special editions along the various mainstream business’ that make up the Kenyan business scene, such as: Banking, Insurance & Finance, Automobiles & Accessories, Hotels & Lodges of Kenya, and the myriad other categories that make us Kenya. The publications’ quality will be similar to that outlined for the book on Eldoret above.
This series will be launched on November 1st, 2012.
The series’ website and publications are of excellent publishing quality and will be published from the US.
